WOMEN CAN DO IT: VIOLETTE UWAMUTARA

Quote: “Creating inclusive, safe and open digital spaces for women is paramount to remove barriers to entry.”

The Women in Tech (WiT) group at Carnegie Mellon University Africa is presenting a Tech women spotlight titled “Women can do it”. Under this program, we will be featuring stories from women working in the Tech field to inspire other women to venture into the technology career. This awareness is in celebrating the International Girls in ICT day, which takes place on April 25th. We believe these stories will motivate other ladies to venture into Tech careers and allow them to know they have what it takes to solve societal problems.
